I was born in the Industrial North of England between Liverpool and Manchester in a town called St Helens, famous for its Rugby and Glass. I graduated from Warwick University then traveled, worked and studied figurative art around the world, most notably Melbourne Australia, Cardiff Wales and London. I married 1995 and am now well settled in Tampa, Florida with my wife and our 3 young children.
I have only ever been interested in painting the figure, the figure in action. There is something about action, whether dance, sport or just walking on the beach that encapsulates life.

Recently I have been painting a series of dance paintings based upon my photo shoot of a local dancer Allison and am paintings some excellent images made available to me of a well know Tampa dancer Carol Lee. I am an emerging artist and have only just joined FineArtAmerica. I am currently posting many orginals that I have recently painted and in a month or two hope to have prints of these available for sale.
